Optometrist - Temporary - Dublin
Applications are welcome for the role of clinical optometrist with the new adult ophthalmology service in Community Health Organisation 7 (CHO7).
The successful candidate will work as part of the newly established multidisciplinary Primary Care Eye Team (PCET) which includes the Consultant Medical Ophthalmologist (clinical lead), clinical optometrists, orthoptists and nurses.
The main hub of clinical activity is in Kilnamanagh Tymon Primary Care Centre in Tallaght (with anticipated move to permanent location in Russell House, Tallaght in 2022).
The team provides adult ophthalmology care in the fields of glaucoma, pre and post-operative cataracts, and medical retina.
This is a part time post, initially locum with the possibility of a permanent position in the near future.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Registered as an Optometrist with The Optical Registration Board at CORU
• At least 3 years post grad experience.
• Permission to work in Ireland
