Role: Occupational Therapist, Basic

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary; €40,325-€58,483
TTM Healthcare Solutions are currently recruiting for a Basic Grade Occupational Therapist for our client based in Kildare
Responsibility
To maintain own caseload, provide services & carry out activities relevant to day to day working & development of the Occupational Therapist Department & other assignments delegated.
Provide Occupational Therapy service to individuals (mainly adults) with Intellectual Disability, physical disability, autism & dementia, their families, carers & staff within the designated areas.
Key Requirements:
Candidates must hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy AND current registration with CORU
Experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disability.
Candidates must possess a full clean driving license and have access to a car
Professional knowledge in the area of postural management, independence skills and community living, sensory integration.
Knowledge of HIQA standards for respite and residential services.
Desirable
Interest in working in the area of intellectual disability. Pre-qualification placement experience in the areas of intellectual disability and/or physical disability is desirable.
An interest/experience in working with clients that use wide range of assistive and adaptive equipment
