Locum Senior Occupational Therapist position available
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Locum Community Senior OT - Galway city
ASAP start, 4-month contract initially
THE BACKGROUND:
At TTM Healthcare we are proud to have partnered with CAMHS - the dedicated State service responsible for improving wellbeing and outcomes for Children and Adolescents with Mental Health difficulties.
Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services delivers an assessment and intervention service to children and their families presenting with a wide range of moderate to severe mental health difficulties that require the input of a multidisciplinary team, including ADHD, anxiety, depression and psychosis. This is an out-patient, community based service for Children up to the age of 18 years.
CAMHS have an available opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to work in a Community CAMHS post, as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Staff Grade Occupational Therapists with the adequate experience and skills may be also be considered for this post.

THE REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for the role, you will need:
• A recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist.
• Full CORU Registration.
• Ability to adapt to changing work environment.
• Professional approach to work.
• Flexibility in work practice.
• Excellent communications skills with children and adults.
• Demonstrate the capacity to plan and deliver care in an effective and resourceful manner within a model of person-centred care.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage self in a busy working environment including the ability to prioritise caseloads.
