•Surgical Wards all specialties including major surgery
•Oncology, Haematology and Palliative Care
•Medical Wards
•Cardiology Wards
•Orthopaedics
•Theatre and Day Surgery
•Anaesthetics and Recovery
•HDU
•Day Care
•Interventional Departments (Radiology and Endoscopy)
Education programme includes
•Orientation programme and initial supernumerary period in assigned clinical area
•Meeting the nursing team and receiving support from top level
•Lectures from senior nursing staff
•Documentation and admission process workshop
•Workshops in management of clinical scenarios including management of the deteriorating patient
•Mandatory training:
•CPR
•Manual handling
•Infection control
•Haemovigilance
•Fire training
•Computer training
•IV Medication Training
Requirements:
BSc in Nursing due to graduate in 2022
