TTM Healthcare in partnership with our client in Donegal has a vacancy for a Medical Secretary/Audio Typist for a temporary 2 month contract with immediate start during this covid pandemic.
Responsibilities:
• Providing organisational and administrative services to all patients on the practice list.
• Receive, assist and direct patients in a professional and courteous way.
• Provide general assistance to the practice team by way of typing correspondence and updating patient files.
• Deal with patient queries and appointment booking either on the telephone or in person
• Liaise externally with third parties as required
• Implement measures aimed at improving the patient experience.
• Maintaining office and medical supplies and stock ordering where necessary.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
• Prior experience dealing with confidential information.
• Handling and recording payments
Essential Requirements:
• Medical Secretary Experience Essential.
• Experienced in Data Entry
• Ability to pay a high-level of attention to detail with accurate input.
• Strong ethos of confidentiality.
• Relevant experience in an administrative, clerical or secretarial role.
