Basic Grade Medical Scientist (Biochemistry), required by TTM Healthcare for hospital in Limerick.
This is a full-time post with an expected contract duration of 12 months.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for the role, you will need to:
1.Must possess one of the following:
• Bachelor in Science (Applied Science) Honours degree (Biomedical option) from the University of Dublin/ Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin Street
or
• Bachelor in Science Honours degree in Biomedical Science from t University College Cork - Cork Institute of Technology course
or
• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences of the Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin Street of the Cork Institute of Technology awarded prior to 1994
or
• Possess Certificate in Medical Laboratory Sciences of the Dublin Institute of Technology. Kevin Street or Cork Institute of Technology or the Galway/ Mayo Institute of Technology (awarded prior to 1997)
or
• A recognised qualification at least equivalent to the above
and
2.Be a member, or be eligible for membership, of the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (ACSLM)
3.Be registered with CORU from 31st march 2019 if newly qualified
4.Permission to work in Ireland
5.Knowledge of haematology and biochemistry
• Applicants who qualified outside Ireland must provide evidence from CORU Medical Scientist Registration Board that their qualifications have been approved for Medical Scientist and meet criteria for recognition including CORU Application Reference number.
