TTM Healthcare are delighted to have partnered with our Client, Nursing Home located in Ballinfoyle, Co. Galway. They are currently recruiting for a HCA on a full-time permanent basis for mainly day shifts, flexibility to work nights is required on occasion. It is their priority to enable clients to live the way they choose through supported living. They accomplish this in a warm, homely environment that keeps clients connected to their family, friends, and community. It is their vision to lead innovation in care, continuously driving new standards and producing state of the art facilities.
The main duties of the HCA is to maintain and improve the quality of service experienced by the residents and to ensure that all work is client focused and upholds the principles of choice, respect, dignity, privacy, independence and fulfilment. To work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assist in providing high standards of health and social care to residents.
Requirements:
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or prior caring experience highly desirable (or a willingness to enrol in this course)
Professional, caring and empathetic nature.
Excellent communication skills
Previous experience in a similar role
