TTM are recruiting a panel of experienced Support Workers/ Healthcare Assistants to work within an intellectual disability service in Listowel, Tralee or Kilarney Co. Kerry.


Working Hours: Full time, part time and relief positions available
Shift Patterns: Mixture of days and evenings


Job Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced Support Workers to offer support and care the residents within the service. This role would involve working with the service users and assisting them in all the activities of daily living. You would need to facilitate service users to maintain and promote their independence.
This job is for qualified, experienced Support Workers to on a locum basis as agency staff. Candidates would need to be flexible to cover a range of shifts including days, nights, and sleepovers.
Candidates must be available for a minimum of 27 hours per week.


Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

A minimum of a QQI Level 5 (Healthcare/Pre nursing/SNA etc) or a Social Care Degree - Level 7 minimum.
Previous experience in a caring/support/ monitoring role working with children and adults who present with intellectual and physical disabilities.
Knowledge of HIQA standards.
Have fluent written and spoken English and excellent report writing skills.
Be available for a minimum of 27 hours per week.

Infection Prevention and Control
