TTM Healthcare Solutions are proud to partner with the HSE to hire Grade V Medical Admin Officer in an acute hospital setting in Dublin 2.
9 month contract
35 hours per week - Monday-Friday
Pay scale in line with HSE point of scale: €44,128 - €52,926 - depending on previous public sector experience. If you do not have previous public sector experience, you will begin on Point 1 of the scale.
Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to:)
·Post holder will report to the Medical Admin Manager, and will be responsible for the delivery of an efficient and effective medical manpower service to management, medical and AHP staff
·Support the Medical Admin Manager on the implementation of good HR practice
·Focus on manpower planning, including processes for recruitment, selection and appointment of medical staff
·Engage with Medical School / Training Colleges and Faculties / National Doctors Training and Planning Unit as appropriate to support staff in their continued professional training and development to optimise service delivery
·Lead out and participate in interviews as required
·Monitor and process all probationary period documentation
·Ensure contracts are issued in line with legislation
·Maintain and ensure efficient systems for administrative records and personnel files
Requirements
·CIPD / relevant qualification in Human Resources Management - Essential
· Knowledge of the health service
·Have a detailed understanding of the medical manpower function as it operates within the acute hospital sector
·Knowledge and experience of data management and analysis
·Knowledge and understanding of medical workforce structures
·Knowledge and understanding of workforce planning
·Knowledge of public service recruitment policies and legislation and the European Working Time Directive
·A working knowledge of the requirements of medical recruitment, training and registration
·A good understanding of employment legislation
·Have a sound knowledge of best practice HR
·Strong MS Office skills including excellent knowledge of MS Excel
