DIRECTOR OF NURSING - SOUTH DUBLIN
Our client a well established Nursing Home Group with Residential Care Homes based in the greater Dublin area as well as the locations of Kildare, Meath, Westmeath and Carlow are now hiring a Director of Nursing to assume responsibility for the overall management of one of their Care Homes based in South Dublin.
The period house has been beautifully maintained and carefully extended over time. They accommodation for their residents in 67 single, one double room. All floors, bedrooms and sitting areas are accessible by spacious stairwells and two lifts, which are located in the centre of the building.
About the Role:
The Director of Nursing will be accountable for all aspects of care and services to the residents both clinically and operationally, and will assume responsibility for the management of all staff within the nursing home. The Director of Nursing will ensure all legislative requirements are maintained.
Role Responsibilities :
Day to day management of the nursing home
Quality of Care Responsibilities
Management of HIQA regulations
Health & Safety
Candidate requirements :
Candidates must be registered with NMBI
Details of any previous experience of carrying on the business of a designated centre
Details and documentary evidence of any relevant qualifications or accredited training
Excellent Clinical, Leadership and Organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Sound decision making ability
Level 6 Management / Supervisory Qualification :
Candidates must have at least 3 years' experience at management level.
