Director of Nursing - Co. Meath
Our client a privately residential home for retired missionary priest is a HIQA approved 33-bed facility based Co. Meath. The centre provides continuing care and short-term convalescent or respite care to retired Missionary Priests. The Retirement Home is seeking to appoint an experienced Director of Care to join its dedicated team and to make a real difference to this community.
The Role:
The Director of Care, as a member of the Senior Management Team, is responsible to direct and coordinate the management of the home in accordance with best practice and within available resources. The Director of Care will coordinate the management of all staff in establishing and maintaining a high standard of care and service in line with Statutory Regulations and in line with the mission, vision, values and strategic plan of the Retirement Home.
The Person:
The ideal candidate for this position will have full registration on the general register of the NMBI and a minimum three years post graduate experience. You will possess a significant management background in residential care for older people or in a closely related area. Post-Registration qualification in Gerontology or Dementia Care is also desirable.
Additional Information
The remuneration package offered will be commensurate with the seniority of the position.
