Our client a very well established Care Home Group are currently recruiting a Director of Nursing / PIC for one of their 47 Bedded Nursing Homes based in County Kildare
This role may suit a CNM or ADON with min of 3 years experience at management level who are looking to progress in their career to DON / PIC
Salary : €80K - €84K
Additional Benefits to include :-
Target Bonus based on occupancy and quality of care criteria
Death in service Cover : 2 x annual salary
Annual leave : 25 Days

Job Description for the role of Director of Nursing.
• Managing and leading all nursing and support staff.
• Developing short and long term goals for the Home.
• Establishing new policies and up dating existing ones to improve the standard of service and care and to reflect best practice.
• Liaising with relative, families and external service providers.
• Maintaining department budgets and recording all expenses.
• Overseeing all relevant documentation and ensuring all is accurate and up to date.
• Managing the Home within all legislative and HIQA standards and regulations.
• Overseeing staff training.
• Maintaining required audits.
• Evaluating staff performance.
• Hiring and training all new staff.
• Reporting to Area Manager.
