TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Director of Nursing on behalf of their client based in North Dublin.
This 57 bedded facility, all residents are female, has undergone and extension and extensive renovation over the past 4 years and is modern and tastefully decorated.
The Director of Nursing role is responsible for the day to day operational management of the Home including care provision, HR management, resource management and some financial responsibility. Both the catering and the cleaning are outsourced so apart from ensuring that the terms of the contract are provided by these suppliers, there is no HR or Finance management related to these contracts. Both contracts are running well.
Requirements:
•Third Level Degree in Nursing.
•Registered with An Bord Altranais and hold an active PIN.
•Post-registration qualification in healthcare management or equivalent is essential.
•Post-registration qualification in Gerontology or Dementia Care is desirable.
•Minimum three years' previous work experience in a management capacity is essential.
•Minimum three years' experience in the area of nursing of older people within the last six years'.
•Minimum six years' post-registration nursing experience.
•Proven clinical competence and passionate about delivering outstanding care to older people.
