Dietitian (Senior) - Temporary - Galway
TTM Healthcare are proud to have partnered with an Adult Mental Health Services in Galway who have an opportunity for a Senior Dietitian to join their team.
The role includes inpatient and outpatient work. The inpatient work includes patients being treated for mental illnesses in the Approved Centre at University Hospital Galway and also Nutritional screening training for nursing staff and liaison with catering manager. The outpatient dietitian clinic is located in La Nua, Day Hospital, Ballybane, Galway and patients come to the clinic from various community adult mental health teams. Dietitian's office base is La Nua, Day Hospital, Ballybane, Galway where other members of the mental health MDT are based. The post holder will be supported by Mental Health Senior Dietitians across Community Healthcare West and also the Mental Health Dietitian Manager.
General Caseload: Adults with restrictive eating disorders (mainly anorexia nervosa) or disordered eating including inpatients and outpatients.
This is a full time post with an expected contract duration of 6 months.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Ideally 3 years+ experience working as a dietitian in a clinical setting. (Senior Dietitian)
• Experience treating adults with malnutrition and identifying patients at risk of refeeding syndrome.
• Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Access to transport.
• CORU registration.
• Permission to work in Ireland.
SALARY :
€54,136 - €63,743 based on experience
