Deputy House Leader, Co. Cork
Contract: Full- time permanent (39 hrs per week)
Location: Cork City
Salary: €32k- €47k per annum
TTM Healthcare are proud to be partnered with an intellectual disability service based in the heart of Cork City. This service prides itself on making known the gifts of people with intellectual disabilities, revealed through mutually transforming relationships and fostering an environment in community that responds to the changing needs of their members, whilst being faithful to the core values of their founding story. They are looking for a House Leader on a full-time permanent basis who has their full Level 7 or 8 degree and with experience of working with intellectual disabilities in a similar setting.
The House Leader is a role model for the ethos of the service of entering in to real and respectful relationships with the residents which promote equality and independence. Good communication and effective delegation are vital and a good relationship between the House Leader and the team of assistants and the residents will foster a good quality of life for all concerned.

The Requirements:
To be eligible for the role you will need:
- Level 7/ 8 Social Care Degree or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years experience of working with intellectual disabilities
- A good knowledge of HIQA requirements
- Knowledge of the National Standards for Residential Services for Children and Adults with Disabilities and the Health Act 2007.
- A Full Clean Driving License is Essential.
