Job: Dental Nurse/Receptionist
Type: Full Time Permanent
Location: Limerick City
Salary: Between €17 and €20 per hour DOE
TTM Healthcare Solutions are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Dental Nurse for our clients; a specialized clinic based in the heart of Limerick City on a full time, permanent basis.
Established in 2013, the Clinic is Limerick's first multi-disciplinary referral practice, offering treatment by specialist dentists in endodontics, prosthodontics, periodontics, implantology, paediatric dentistry and oral surgery. The primary objective of the Clinic is to deliver the highest quality, advanced dental treatment to our patients in a comfortable, friendly and welcoming environment.
The Role:
Providing oral health education to patients
Using a variety of dental instruments to scale, polish and clean teeth
Ensuring that dental tools and instruments are sterilised appropriately
Taking radiographs and impressions of teeth and giving local anaesthetic under the Dentist's supervision
Applying temporary sealants and coatings to protect teeth
Collecting dental and medical histories and maintaining health records of patients
Working to a professional code of ethics and keeping up to date with recent developments within the industry
The Successful Applicant Will Have:
A relevent Dental Nursing qualification
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Effective motivation and listening skills
Prior experience working in a clinical environment
Confidence in handling various types of dental equipment
The ability to work well independently, as well as in a team
Compassion and empathy while interacting with patients
