MENTAL HEALTH NURSE (Team Leader / CNM1) | Dublin | Permanent
RPN/ Mental Health nurse required for a primary care service based in Dublin city centre. This service operates Monday - Sunday (days only) and is a national voluntary organization that helps people who are homeless and those caught in addiction.
The ideal candidate must have a working knowledge of The Mental Health Act as well as an understanding of QUADS policies and The National Drug Strategy.

RPN/ Mental Health nurse required for a primary care service based in Dublin city centre. This service operates Monday - Sunday (days only) and is a national voluntary organization that helps people who are homeless and those caught in addiction.
The ideal candidate must have a working knowledge of The Mental Health Act as well as an understanding of QUADS policies and The National Drug Strategy.
THE ROLE:
Some of the duties include:
- Providing both Mental Health Nursing and Crisis interventions
- Ensuring assessments and care plans are carried out
- Promoting recovery and enhancement of the quality of life for service users.
- Managing emergencies
- Leading the existing mental health team, supervising staff as well as students
- Assisting with recruitment, rosters/off duty
THE REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate must:
- Hold full NMBI registration under the Psychiatric/Mental Health division
- Ideally have 2 years experience at Supervisory Level
- Have an understanding of Drugs, Alcohol and mental health issues
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills .
- Qualification in the area of addiction studies desirable
