Clinical Specialist Radiographer in Ultrasound, required by TTM Healthcare, on behalf of the biggest acute private hospital in Dublin.
The Radiology Department in this hospital offers a full range of diagnostic and interventional services, from digital mammography to ultrasound, CT, MRI and Interventional procedures and is one of the largest radiology practices in the country.
As Clinical Specialist Radiographer, you will be responsible for supervising staff and successfully managing service delivery on a day to day basis, as well as carrying out the duties appropriate to a Radiographer in relation to Ultrasound services.
Duties will include maintaining up to date knowledge of clinical, technical and radiographic developments in relation to Ultrasound and promote awareness of new developments and to ensure that best practice is implemented.
You will also be providing professional support and advice to patients and other health professionals in relation to Ultrasound.
This is a permanent, full-time position with competitive salary and excellent benefits offered to the successful candidate.
Key Requirements:
•BSc or its equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography
•Minimum 6 years' experience in Radiography
•Post graduate qualification in Ultrasound plus a minimum of three years' experience in Ultrasound
•CORU Registration
•Demonstrate experience of working with a team of Radiographers
•Demonstrate ability to manage clinical and non-clinical situations
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•Have proven ability to work under pressure
•Be able to deal with staff and management at all levels within the organization
•Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development
