Job Purpose:
A Clinical Specialist Radiation Therapist, as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, is responsible for the preparation and treatment of patients with a cancer diagnosis or other benign conditions requiring radiotherapy, providing psychosocial support throughout the course of treatment.
Requirements:
Completion of a qualification in Radiation Therapy recognised by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU.
CORU registered
Have a minimum of 6 years fulltime (or an aggregate of 6 years) post qualification clinical experience.
Possess strong leadership qualities
Management skills
