TTM Healthcare have partnered with one of Ireland's leading Health Insurance companies to recruit a Clinical Quality Specialist Nurse.

This is a full time permanent role offering the opportunity to work up to 4 days per week from home. 20% of the working week must be worked on site in their head office based in Cork.

The Role:
The primary function of the Medical Practice Clinical Quality Specialist is to ensure the delivery of accurate and efficient outcome programmes that include systematic review of care provided to our members against evidence-based medical practice standards, Schedule of Benefits rules for payment and provider contracts agreements. The quality specialist will be required to collate the clinical criteria to evaluate outcomes and conduct comprehensive provider audits, liaise with our medical advisory panels to identify best practice and standards and plan and implement practice change. Reporting thereafter and implementing a quality improvement plan with providers where necessary is required. The role also includes a variety of analysis and ongoing provider engagement is important to implement best practice and practice change and ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements:
•Registered General Nurse with Experience in Quality
•As a consequence of the Minimum Competency Requirements imposed by the Financial Regulator and depending on your role within the company, you may be required to attain the Certified Insurance Practitioner accreditation (The Insurance Institute of Ireland) or equivalent. If this accreditation is required you will be notified by your line Manager. In addition to this, it may be necessary for you to be compliant with the Continuing Professional Development requirements, all of which will be outlined to you in the Company Handbook.
•The ability to communicate effectively is a pre-requisite of this role. Having previously worked in a Quality role with a clinical background will be a distinct advantage. An excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a requirement. Analytical experience would be advantageous.
•The successful candidate must come from a quality role in a Hospital setting

Benefits:
•Salary ranges from €80k to €86k per annum
•Up to 10% of salary bonus paid quarterly depending on performance
