Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM1) - State of the Art Nursing Home - North Dublin (20 minutes from Swords and Santry)

Our client is looking to recruit a full time permanent Clinical Nurse Managers for their new state of the art Residential Care Home base in North Dublin.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2- 3 years' experience . The client will support further education and development and there are many opportunities to grow within the company . Their culture is one of inclusiveness , education and nurturing so the CNM needs to embrace that with her team.

Job Summary

The CNM will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the nursing home. The successful candidate will provide holistic, person-centred care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

The Clinical Nurse Manager will:

Ensure that the provision of a high standard of care to the resident and families in Name of Unit is consistent with the mission, vision, values and strategic plan of the Nursing Home.
Ensure recognition of the resident as an individual; ensuring residents' rights, needs and comfort are given priority during the provision of care.
Develop relationships with residents, which facilitates resident autonomy, informed choice and evidence-based decision-making.
Promote and maintain resident safety and provide quality care through respecting the privacy, dignity, and rights of the resident.
Maximise the residents' capacity to exercise personal autonomy and choice.
Assist residents to maintain their sense of identity and include them in decision making whenever possible.
Ensure that Four Ferns is operated in a manner that respects the age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, family status, civil status, race, religious beliefs and ethnic and cultural background of each resident.
Plan, assess and deliver resident care that maximises the resident's capacity to exercise personal autonomy and choice, together with all members of the Multidisciplinary Care Team.



A registered General Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse on the Register of Nurses held by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or be entitled to be so registered.
Evidence of continuous professional development.


Post Graduate Diploma in Gerontology
Management qualifications
Gerontology experience
Experience in Psycho Geriatric Nursing Care/Psychiatry/Adult Disabled.
Have an in-depth knowledge of the ageing process.
