They have an available opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM1) for their 60 bedded Residential Care Home based in Co. Meath.

The ideal candidate should have excellent experience at management level within gerontology and a very good knowledge of the HIQA requirements pertained to Care of the Older person. If you think the position is right for you, let’s talk.

Overview of role:

• The successful candidate will be required to manage the Staff Nurses and Health Care Assistants.
• Maintain professional confidentiality, ensuring all clinical and legal documents are accurate and legible
• Use discretion and decision making regarding patient care, referring appropriately to the DON.
• Responsible for continuous personal and professional development


Requirements:

• Must have minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working at CNM level in a nursing home already.
• NMBI Registered
• Excellent communication skills
• Good Team Player
• Excellent knowledge of HIQA- Policies and Procedures pertained to the Care of the Older Person

Shift Pattern :-

The job will involve 7 x 12 hour shifts per fortnight. 2 shifts each week will be off the floor and the remaining 3 shifts will be working on the floor doing nursing duties.
