TTM Healthcare in partnership with our client in Limerick has vacancies for a Clerical Officer Grade III.
Month by month initial contract.
37 hours per week
Shift work and 9am to 5pm roles available.
Responsibilities:
• Providing administrative support for meetings
• Perform secretarial duties utilising specific knowledge of medical terminology.
• Responsible for the provision of wide ranging administrative support to the Consultants, ensuring that all tasks are performed to the highest standard.
• Manage and Organise Clinic Schedules: communicating with patients, booking appointments, preparing for daily clinics and managing clinic progression, responsible for surgery scheduling.
• Administration and co-ordination of correspondence: audio-typing and proof-reading all dictation ensuring all terminology is correct.
• Compiling and recording medical reports and correspondence
• Telephone: managing the telephone, ensuring all calls are received, recorded and dealt with within an appropriate time frame.
• Write reports for the department, file and store documents
Requirements:
Excellent spelling is essential.
Excellent typing skills
Excellent organisation and planning skills
Excellent attention to details
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
Medical Terminology would be extremely beneficial to this role.
