Full time hours available in North & South Dublin.
TTM Healthcare in partnership with an instantly recognisable national care provider, have requirements for Care Assistant staff to work with service users with physical disabilities in community settings throughout Dublin.
Service users are supported in their own accommodation, with a staffing team working 24/7 providing care and support.
All service users are very independent and able to direct their own care. Most services operate on a lone-working basis.
Shifts are 12 hours in length.
Services are spread throughout North & South Dublin.
Drivers are preferable but not essential.
What we need from you:
- Minimum 1 year experience working with adults with disabilities
- Confident lone-working with service users
- Driver (ideally)
- Outgoing personality, able to hold conversation and engage with service users and staff
Training certificates that will be required in advance:
- Patient Moving & Handling
- Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults
- Management of Actual & Potential Aggression
- Safe Administration of Medication
- Epilepsy Awareness (or Buccal Midazolam)
