TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Business Service Manager, on behalf of an independent, acute care hospital based in North Dublin.
As Business Service Manager, you will be working closely with the Hospital Manager as a Senior Manager on the strategic and operational management of key clinical services in the Hospital.
You will ideally have experience of working in a healthcare environment and will be responsible for the delivery of an efficient and effective service that will support and contribute to the hospital's development.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
•Playing a key role in the strategic planning of clinical services as identified by the Hospital Manager
•Collaborating on the development and execution of a three year strategic plan
•Liaising with key stakeholders e.g. Heads of Department, Hospital Management Team, Clinicians and Scheduling/Bed Manager in the Hospital to manage the cultural and strategic change required.
•Developing strong working relationships with all consultants across areas of responsibility
•Assisting with the preparation of tendors for the Special Delivery Unit and National Treatment Purchase Fund projects
This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and excellent benefits on offer.
Key Requirements:
•Professional nursing/healthcare/business qualification or a minimum of 5 years' experience working as a senior manager in a healthcare environment
•Strong business acumen with sound commercial judgement
•A proven track record in the development and execution of a strategic service plan
•Strong analytic and problem solving skills
•A proven track record in effectively managing income and expenditure budgets for areas of responsibility
•Ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team
•Experience of delivering on continuous improvement projects is desirable
