Role: Basic/Senior Grade Pharmacist

Salary: 34,077 72,590 per annum DOE off HSE Payscale
TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Basic or Senior Grade Pharmacist for a HSE Hospital in Limerick City. This is a specified fixed term contract for 9-12 months
Responsibilities:
The Basic or Senior Grade Pharmacist will work as part of a dedicated pharmacy team to ensure
delivery of a comprehensive pharmacy service to all areas. The post holder will be
responsible to the Chief Pharmacist.
Duties:
•Management and provision of services
•Ensure that premises and equipment are provided and maintained to the appropriate
•standards required to provide a quality service to the level agreed, and in accordance
•to the standards of the Pharmacy Regulator, the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
•Participate and provide support and supervision to the operation of the dispensary and
•supervise the supply of drugs, pharmaceuticals and other related items.
•Supervise Pharmaceutical Technician and any Pharmacy Intern, Student Pharmacist,
•Student Pharmaceutical Technician and/or other staff assigned to him/her.
•Oversee the maintenance of records for purchasing, quality control, compounding and
•dispensing to the standards required.
•Participate in the provision of clinical pharmacy services as assigned by the Chief Pharmacist.
Requirements:
•Be a registered Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) or be entitled to be so registered
•Ideally have Hospital experience however would consider extensive community experience
•Have at least three years' satisfactory post registration hospital experience for Senior Position
•Possess the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
