Medical Scientist (Multidisciplinary), required by TTM Healthcare, on behalf of an independent, acute care hospital based in North Dublin.
The JCI and INAB accredited Pathology Department is a consultant led service and includes 45 scientific, assistant, clerical and phlebotomy staff, supporting 18 clinical units within the hospital including cardiology, endoscopy, surgery, medicine and oncology, performing a wide range of clinical laboratory investigations utilising state of the art diagnostic analysers and techniques.
As Multidisciplinary Medical Scientist, you will be working in a rotational post, between the Haematology, Blood Transfusion and Biochemistry departments, participating in the on call rota as needed. Training will be provided as required.

Key Requirements:
•BSc in Biomedical Science/Medical Laboratory Science only ACSLM approved degrees can be considered
•ACSLM membership or eligibility for membership is essential
•Excellent knowledge of and competence in at least one of the following disciplines: biochemistry, haematology and/or blood transfusion
•Experience of working in an INAB-accredited (or equivalent) medical laboratory
•Experience of working with iLab Laboratory Information System is desirable
