Job Purpose:
The Radiation Therapist / Senior Radiation Therapist are required to carry out all duties within their scope to provide an efficient and effective service to patients. Radiation Therapists may rotate through the various areas of the radiotherapy department including the treatment delivery, planning incorporating CT / MRI simulation, contouring and treatment planning. Radiation Therapists are responsible for scheduling patients for their procedures, collation of patient information and plan checking.
Requirements:
• Completion of a formal Radiation Therapy Technology Program in an Irish/EU/AMA-approved institution.
• CORU registration required.
• Senior post - Must have at least 3 years relevant and appropriate post graduate radiotherapy experience.
• Future development of the new machines will be a key part of this role, so we are looking for someone who is dynamic and motivated.
