Role: Senior Audiologist

TTM Healthcare are currently working with one of Cork's Leading Audiology Practices based in the outskirts of the City. They provide diagnostic hearing tests for adults and children, along with the prescription of hearing aids. They also run wax removal (via micro suction) clinics.
This role requires an experienced Audiologist to perform a wide range of tasks including adult hearing tests, paediatric hearing tests, wax removal via micro suction, report writing post testing, hearing aid prescription and hearing aid repairs.
This clinic is one of the only practices in the country with no financial or commercial ties to a particular hearing aid manufacturer, making this company 100% independent and totally committed to excellent patient care in a diagnostic, very clinical environment.
Requirements
•Positive attitude and a willingness to learn every aspect of an audiology business.
•Minimum education level: Foundation degree in Audiology or Healthcare Science with a major in Audiology.
•Qualified in and post qualified experience in the removal of ear wax via micro suction.
•A minimum of two plus years PQE in either the public or private sector and a proven record of working autonomously with both adults and children. Would consider a candidate with one year's PQE with the relevant experience.
•Hearing aid experience essential (prescription, fitting, checks up, etc.)
•An understanding and good demonstration of the empathy required when helping patients through a difficult time while rehabilitating and managing a hearing loss and/or tinnitus.
•Access to Car and clean driver's license.
