TTM Healthcare Solutions are currently working with a private audiology clinic based in Cork, in search of an experienced Audiologist. They provide diagnostic hearing tests for adults and children, along with the supply of hearing aids as well as wax removal (via endoscopic micro suction) clinics.
This opening has become available due to a significant increase of referrals from local healthcare professionals, so a minimum of 2 years post grad experience is preferential. This role is suited to an outgoing individual who really wants to learn about every aspect of an audiology business and to further their personal development in the industry. This is a busy, fast paced environment where decisions need to be made quickly and where multi-tasking is part of the day to day.
Overview of Role:
•Adult & child hearing tests, check-ups and wax removals (via endoscopic micro suction).
•Prescription, Fitting and Check-up of Hearing Aids.
•Report writing.
•Administrative duties as required (Answering Phones/Bookings etc).
•Ensuring CPD is kept up to date.
•Learning and honing skills under a Senior Audiologist while having a deep interest in audiology and professional development.
Requirements:
•Foundation degree (or Masters) in Audiology or Healthcare Science with a major in Audiology.
•At least one year's PQE in either the public or private sector.
•Access to Car with driver's License.
•Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
•Strong level of empathy essential in dealing with patients through a difficult time while rehabilitating and managing a hearing loss and/or tinnitus
•Positive attitude with a willingness to develop in their career as well as an interest in learning about the business as a whole.
