Locum Audiologist position available
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Locum Audiologist - Galway
ASAP start, 6-month contract initially
THE BACKGROUND:
At TTM Healthcare we are proud to have partnered with the HSE specialist service dedicated to and responsible for diagnosing problems with hearing, treating hearing loss, servicing and repairing hearing aids, giving advice regarding using assistive devices, and providing emotional support to adults or children experiencing hearing loss.
They have an available opportunity in Galway for an Audiologist with excellent experience, skills and knowledge, who display and deliver their passion for working in Audiology environments. New graduates will also be considered.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The overall responsibility within this role will be to
• Caseloads will consist of adult cases.
• Direct referrals of adults with hearing loss.
• Fitting hearing aids across the range of hearing losses using NAL and DSL prescriptions.
• Ensure all procedures are compliant to BSA standards.
• Promote a culture that values diversity and respect in the workplace.
• Seek the advice of relevant personnel when appropriate / as required.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for the role, you will need:
• A recognised qualification as an Audiologist.
• Ability to adapt to changing work environment.
• Professional approach to work.
• Flexibility in work practice.
• Excellent communications skills with children and adults.
• Previous experience desirable but not essential.
• New Graduates will be considered.
