Due to the continued growth in the community for palliative care services, TTM Healthcare are now recruiting an Assistant Director of Nursing on behalf of a Galway based Hospice.
This is a permanent full-time contract working 37.5 hours per week. This role is also new to the organisation.
The successful candidate will have:
•Current NMBI Registration
•8 years post registration experience
•5 years nursing management experience at CNM2/ CNM 3 Level 3 of which 3 must have been in a palliative care setting.
•Ability to demonstrate respect focused leadership while continuing to meet service demands and changes
•Possess a Post Graduate Diploma in Palliative Care at not less than level 8 (QQI) in health care or PDip/Masters in Palliative care
•Demonstrated experience of operating under Quality Systems (e.g. HIQA, CHKS, ISO, JCI)
•Possesses formal Management qualification (i.e. Degree / Diploma or equivalent)
•Have excellent communications and interpersonal skills suited to the ethos and environment at the Hospice.
