TTM Healthcare are delighted to have partnered with our client in assisting them with the recruitment of an Assistant Director of Nursing for their Elderly Care Service in Co. Laois
Our client's Elderly Care Home is part of an established family run Nursing Home Group with state-of-the-art convalescent homes across Ireland. Our client has plans to develop their services and expand their group in the near future and we are inviting applications from Assistant Director's of Nursing who would like to embark on a new and exciting journey.
Purpose of the Role:
The Assistant Director of Nursing will report to and support the Director of Nursing. Supporting the Director of Nursing this care home has a dedicated team of staff nurses, senior healthcare assistants, healthcare assistants, activity coordinator, social care practitioner, allied healthcare professionals and ancillary staff, who's focus will be to enhance the lives of the elderly residents in their care. The appointee will undertake the role and responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing and be accountable to the Director of Nursing. The successful applicant will be required to provide and manage a professional care and nursing service while actively contributing to the development of the Nursing Home, its residents and staff.
Applicant Criteria
• Hold a registration with An Bord Altranais and hold an active PIN
• Hold an additional qualification in healthcare management or equivalent is essential
• Post-registration qualification in Gerontology or Dementia Care is desirable.
