TTM Healthcare invite applications for our client's Area Manager (CNM3 Grade) role for their services. We are assisting our client with the recruitment and screening of suitable candidates for the Area Manager role.

The Employer:
Our client provides services to over 1000 adults and children with special needs in North Cork and South Limerick areas. Our client works to support each individual to be independent, by adopting a Person Centred Approach.
Our client has a successful track record in developing, strengthening and sustaining improved services for children and adults. The service provides a training centre and holds top facilities for their service users which have taken them to the Olympics on a National / International and World level.

Area Manager Role:
The Area Manager will report to the Head of Client Services and will receive direct reports from the Persons in Charge within the area of responsibility and on occasions from additional areas as required i.e leave cover. The Area Manager is also required to manage and develop the Residential and Respite Care services ensuring the needs of residents within our clients' care are met within a person centred planning approach and that all residential services comply with the National Quality Standards: Residential Services for People with Disabilities.

Location:
The Area Manager will be required to travel to services in the North Cork/South Limerick Services. The Area Manager will be based in Charlesville and will have access to another office located in the Limerick Services.

Working Week:
39 Hours


Applicant Criteria:
  • A degree in Nursing (RNID desirable) with a minimum of five years post qualification experience of working in residential and day services for children & adults with an Intellectual disabilities
  • A Management Qualification with at least three years post qualification at a management level.
  • Extensive experience of working with service users who may present with behaviours that challenge.
  • A proven track record of managing staff and service users coupled with a high degree of flexibility.
