Haematology, Blood Transfusion, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Histology / Histopathology, Cytology and Medical Laboratory Assistants (MLAs).
In order to work as a Medical Scientist in Ireland, you must have a recognised degree in Biomedical Science/Medical Laboratory Science and you must be CORU registered. The CORU Register for Medical Scientists opens in March. New entrants to the Medical Science profession in Ireland are required to apply for registration with CORU. For more information see here.
