My TTM is
Ambitious. Supportive. Empathetic. Interested. Smashing Goals.
Paul’s story with TTM began in 2015 when he joined our Allied Health Professionals (AHP) division as Team Leader and then Manager, before moving on to becoming Operations Director and his current position as Business Manager looking after the UK Temporary recruitment market. He oversees a team of 6 consultants and his main focus is locum and temporary Healthcare Assistants, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals (AHP) – recruited from within the UK, for domestic positions. He looks after the South and South West UK region as well as the North East.
Paul has an impressive academic background – studying History and Politics at university and completing his BA in these subjects at Limerick University followed by his MA in Peace and Development Studies. A born people-person, Paul found a natural fit in recruitment after completing his studies : he has a genuine passion for helping others realise their own potential and finds it hugely rewarding to work as part of a strong team and help each person grow and develop in their roles. He has also enjoyed the challenge of taking TTM forward into new markets, in Northern Ireland and the UK.
Paul is a firm believer in continued education, and he is currently completing the International Selling Programme through Enterprise Ireland - an export sales development programme targeted exclusively at maximising export sales for Irish companies. His natural competitive spirit finds great fulfilment in sport, especially hurling, while he also admits to having a real travel bug and a love for immersing himself in different cultures. A huge Bruce Springsteen fan, Paul has attended 21of his concerts in Europe and the US!
“Teamwork truly makes TTM the success that it is today. I’m a highly ambitious and motivated individual and strongly believe in the power of shared goals and working together - so I focus a lot of my time and effort in and developing my team. In turn, I’m grateful for the ongoing support I receive from my colleagues and managers at TTM. I think it is important to ensure people feel valued and appreciated, and always try to demonstrate empathy and try to see issues from different perspectives.”
