Here's everything you need to know…
Why does Dublin need Social Care Workers? Well, as Ireland’s largest city Dublin has a population of more than 1.4 million and there are more than 2 million people in the Greater Dublin Area. This means there is great demand for housing, education, healthcare and various social supports. Like any big city, there are challenges within these sectors - such as homelessness, the need for child protection services and support for people with mental health problems. Qualified and experienced Social Care Workers are vital in all these areas – working with vulnerable individuals and groups who are disadvantaged or marginalised.
