Darkness Into Light 2024

They say every great journey starts with a single step, and it’s especially true for our team members who are getting ready to stride out for the Darkness Into Light Walk 2024. They’ll be letting their feet do the talking to raise valuable funds for our Pieta House. It’s just one of the ways TTM is committed to making positive impact…

This year our Medical & Northern Ireland team will be flying the flag for TTM on Saturday 11th May, and in the run up to the event they’re encouraging all to support their efforts with a donation. Click here to make a donation.

Sponsored by Electric Ireland, the famous annual charitable walk will begin at 4.15 am and marks ‘the most important sunrise of the year’ - as people in 15 countries on 5 continents show their support for those impacted by suicide and self-harm. Last year the TTM team raised €1,200, and this year they’re hoping to go bigger and better to raise much-needed funds for Pieta House.

Founded in Dublin in 2006, Pieta House provides free, accessible support to people affected by suicide and self-harm.

TTM Positive Impact

We have a vision of 3X10X which means that while we want to grow 3 times the size – we want to have TEN times the positive impact. In short – we want sustainable growth. Good growth that makes a real difference within our communities, economically and socially.

With this in mind, last year we launched our HAVE Positive Impact Charter. The Charter has four pillars which see us striving to make the world better by supporting:

H – Happy Places

A – Accessibility for Everyone

V – Valued in our Communities

E – Environmental Urgency

Our support for Pieta House is inspired by this spirit.

Supporting Darkness into Light brings so many benefits for all:

A donation of just €12 can answer one call to the Pieta House 24-hour crisis helpline. This means TTM’s support through donations can have real impact. Beyond this, the walk really does provide an opportunity for people to come together to connect with their local community. It’s a very real way of showing tangible hope and support for those who’ve been impacted by suicide.
