Speech and Language Therapist
Speech and Language Therapist to join Louth Community Services, Dundalk. This role is within a primary care paediatric setting. The Speech and Language Therapist will be working with the Senior Speech and Language Therapists who will supervise and offer support. This is a contracted role for 6 - 12 months.
Duties:
• Be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment / intervention programmes for service users according to professional standards.
• Communicate results of assessments and recommendations to the service user and relevant others as appropriate.
• Provide a high quality, effective and evidence-based service that is current and responsive to patient needs
• Ensure that professional standards are maintained in relation to confidentiality, ethics and legislation
Requirements:
• A Relevant Qualification is required
• Eligibility to work in Ireland (hold a working visa)
• Must be registered with CORU
• Experience in Paediatrics is desirable
• Full Driver's licence and use of car is essential
