Speech and Language Therapist
Speech and Language Therapist required for the Children's Disability Network Team in Drogheda, Co. Louth. Their base is Drogheda and catchment area is South Louth and a small part of East Meath along the coast. The Speech and Language Therapist will be working with children up to the age of 18 with disabilities. This is a contracted role for 3 - 6 months with scope for Extension.
Duties:
• Be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment / intervention programmes for service users according to professional standards.
• Communicate results of assessments and recommendations to the service user and relevant others as appropriate.
• Provide a high quality, effective and evidence-based service that is current and responsive to patient needs
• Ensure that professional standards are maintained in relation to confidentiality, ethics and legislation.
Requirements:
•A Relevant Qualification is required
•CORU registration mandatory
•Eligibility to work in Ireland (hold a working visa)
•Experience in Disability is desirable
