Our client, Attuned Programmes Ireland have exciting full-time permanent opportunities for Social Care Workers in their Adult Disability Services located close to Wicklow Town,

Attuned Programmes Ireland provide bespoke, individually tailored and high-quality services to children, young people, and adults in the community. This incudes residential, respite, and theraputic day services.

The Social Care Worker will work as part of a dedicated and innovative team in a respite-based house providing high quality, person-led support to people with a range of intellectual abilities and/or diagnosis of ASD, within a quality framework. The successful Social Care Worker will support young persons in developing self care and independent living skills while helping them to develop the capacity and opportunity to eventually live an independent life in the community. The Social Care Worker will support the Team Leader and Person in Charge in ensuring that all regulatory obligations and standards are being implemented, maintained and improved on at all times.

Essential Criteria:
Candidates must have at a minimum a 3 year QQI level 7 degree in Applied Social Studies or Professional Social Care -Social Care Practice.

The Following degree minimum equivalencies may be considered:
  • Level 8 in Psychology
  • Level 7 in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
  • Level 7 in Counselling Professional

Or a Professional qualification in:
  • Youth and Community Work
  • Social Work
  • Social Sciences
  • Teaching & Nursing

Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience working with a range of intellectual abilities
  • Experience of working within a Trauma Informed Approach
  • Experience working with vulnerable young people
  • A full clean Drivers Licence
