Our client a leading Healthcare provider of Residential Care Homes nationwide are currently inviting applicants to apply for the role of Relationship Manager for three of their care homes based in Louth, Meath and North Dublin

The Relationship Manager will play a key role in client and stakeholder engagement for the nursing homes. This is an exciting new position, whereby the successful candidate will be responsible for effectively managing and coordinating engagement with all stakeholders involved in the continuum from the point of generation of demand for the Healthcare Provider's residential care services through to the point of 6 weeks post admission for service users.

Salary is 62k per annum depending on the experience.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours weekly, Monday- Friday
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Annual Leave Entitlement: 20 days

Responsibilities & Requirements:


Ensuring that all enquiry generation and management is conducted in an efficient and effective that distils enquiries into a responsive and appropriately managed waiting list matrix.
Ensuring that each service user enquirer of the company experiences a positive, informative and genuine interface with the company in the first instance ensuring each case is managed to the point of handover, following assessment by the Relationship Manager, to the Person in Charge or is linked in satisfactorily to the most appropriate alternative setting.
Where a prospective admission is confirmed, the Relationship Manager is responsible for ensuring that the resident and/or their existing supporting network are effectively engaged and supported during their transition into the nursing home facilities.
Oversee all open day/viewing scheduling, enquiry management, classification and communications. Classification will require working knowledge of current resident mix per home and ability to build appropriate resident profile.
Assist in the development of community links creating positive brand awareness to target audiences through genuine contribution to local areas and initiatives. Develop a professional network that will contribute to maximal current and future referral lines and pathways.


Essential skills, competencies and/or professional knowledge

Essential:


Relevant healthcare qualification or background; nursing, allied health, clinical.
Knowledge of Residential Care legislation and standards
Knowledge of Residential Care legislation including the National Quality Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People in Ireland, and other guidance as applicable including the Assisted Decision Making Bill 2016
Demonstrate sound knowledge of sectoral guidance issued by HIQA


Desirable:

Ability to source both theoretical and technical information from the sector and other sectors, both nationally and internationally and be able to adapt and apply best practice to context. Therefore, regularly conduct research into best practice into other sectors and/or jurisdictions and int6roduce same to the context within which Virtue operates.
