THE BACKGROUND:
As the National Supplier of Temporary and Permanent staff, we are now looking to recruit staff for a permanent opportunity based out of Waterford. We are proud to have partnered with a leading consultancy and outsourcing organisation, with positions based out of Waterford City.
The location is well provided for by public transport. Several Bus Eireann bus routes serve the office with Work From Home/Remote working an option. We are now seeking to recruit administration staff for permanent opportunities to join this fast-growing organization providing patient access and patient engagement to leading global healthcare organizations

Interested applicants must be available full time Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm, working 5 days per week.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job is for a Patient Scheduling Representative on a permanent basis. Your role would involve working as part of a team to provide a quality service to meet the needs of the service while guided by other senior staff. The role consists of the below responsibilities:
• Perform non-clinical screening to ensure the patient is seen by the right physician at the right time
• Review scheduled appointment information with patients and families, and provide appointment itineraries
• Review assigned work queues and address any pending scheduling needs
• Ensure all required information for pre-registering patients is captured and entered accurately
• Calling discharged patients (non-clinical)
• Following a specific call flow process
• Verify and review patients and families' insurance coverage and benefit eligibility
• Investigate, resolve and document customer requests in a timely and efficient manner, and contact corresponding stakeholders as needed
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills in all interactions with patients, families, and physicians


Your Educational Responsibilities:

• Leaving Certificate or Equivalent
• 1+ year(s) Customer Service Experience



Your Communication Responsibilities:
Fluent written and spoken English and excellent report writing skills.


THE REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for the role, you will need to:
• Excellent customer service background
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to investigate and resolve queries
• Ability to work to targets and deadlines
• Familiarity and experience of healthcare terminology is an advantage
• Internet access provided by a cable or fibre provider
• DSL, satellite, and cellular/mobile hotspot are NOT permitted
• A minimum download speed of 20 Mbps or above and an upload speed of 2 Mbps or more
• Have an appropriate home office space
