Details of Post:
The post will be based in the Capability and Culture Office, 20-23 Merchants Quay, Dublin 8; however, the post holder will also be required to work regularly at the Regional Education Centre, Ardee, Co. Louth, St. Ita's Campus, Portrane and other locations in line with service requirements.
There is one permanent and whole-time vacancy available.
A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Grade VIII, LLTM Managers, Capability and Culture, National Human Resources, Dublin, from which current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part time duration may be filled.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have at the latest date of application:
·A third level qualification at degree level (QQI Level 8) or higher in a relevant area such as HR or education, learning and development.
·Significant relevant experience at management level in Human Resources and/or learning and development.
·Significant relevant experience of designing and delivering learning and development programmes.
·Experience of planning and implementing change including the delivery of large scale programmes and projects.
·Experience of managing performance within a complex environment.
·Experience of achieving results through cross-sectoral / divisional working.
·Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.

Health
A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
Character
Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character.

·A working knowledge of the Healthcare Sector.
·Specialist knowledge and understanding of Leadership, Learning and Talent Management.

·A good understanding of relevant legislation e.g. Freedom of Information and Data Protection, Health and Safety, Employment legislation etc.
