TTM Healthcare in partnership with our client, are recruiting for Community Intervention Team Services Manager.

About Community Intervention Team (CIT)

CIT is an enhanced nurse led service supported by a variety of other healthcare professionals and community services. It aims to provide enhanced acute interventions in a rapid and integrated manner to a patient with an acute episode of illness appropriate for care in the home/community. It provides additional short term supports in the community avoiding admission to hospital or allowing for an early discharge. CIT also provide services to include the OPAT programme designed to deliver intravenous antimicrobials in a non-inpatient setting.

The role:

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the CIT Services Manager will play a key role in the management and development of the CIT service in the Cork region. The CIT Services Manager will have overall responsibility for the operation of the service.

The main responsibilities include ensuring that the optimum standard of service is delivered on a daily basis within CIT, maintaining the quality of patient care, developing existing and new services as necessary and meeting strict deadlines and KPIs as set out by the organisation.

He/she will also contribute positively to the delivery of the service, its future direction and growth of CIT.

Other duties include selection and recruitment, orientation for new hires, participate in budget setting, process improvement as well as developing and maintaining nursing standards consistent with the highest standards of care.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must meet the below criteria:

•Registered General Nurse with the NMBI (RGN registration only)
•5 years' experience with at least 2 years in practice/community nursing
•3 years management experience
•Knowledge of Clinical Governance
