TTM Healthcare Solutions are proud to partner with a HSE facility in Mullingar to recruit a Grade IV Clerical Officer for immediate start.

3 month initial contract - with a possibility to extend.
Temporary contract
35 hours per week (Monday-Friday) 9 am to 5pm
Grade IV HSE pay scales: €17.27 - €27.57 depending on relevant public sector experience


Duties:
• To research, retrieve and collate records required for Freedom of Information/Data Protection requests in accordance with legislation and time frames.
• All records identified as being subject to the request must be located, retrieved and tracked using iPMS.
• Photocopy and scan medical records to a high standard of quality ensuring excellent attention to deal.
• Liaise with patients, Solicitors, An Garda Síochána, Coroner by telephone or in writing in relation to queries regarding FOI/GDPR requests.
• Prepare correspondence for sign off by the FOI/GDPR Decision Maker.
• Maintain high standards of confidentiality of data at all times.
• Management of patients charts in accordance with National Hospitals Record
• Management Policies and Procedures.
• Communicate confidentially and professionally with staff at all levels of the organisation and maintain a good working relationship with staff.
• Ensure the efficient administration of area of responsibility.
• Manage telephone calls appropriately by dealing with issues raised where possible and direct calls to the Consumer & Legal Affairs Manager as necessary
• Promote and maintain a customer focused environment by ensuring service users are treated with dignity and respect.
• To provide administrative support to the Consumer & Legal Affairs Manager.
To assist in managing the overall distribution of patient/customer information throughout the Hospital.
To assist in the collation of information required for Insurance purposes.
Carry out other such duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Consumer & Legal Affairs Manager.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Consumer and Legal Affairs systems and practices and engage in development opportunities that relate to Consumer and Legal Affairs practice.
• Maintain own knowledge of relevant HSE policies, procedure, guidelines and practices and attend training programmes as appropriate for the role.
• Make appropriate use of technology to advance the quality and efficiency of service provision.
