General Manager Vacancy - Ennis, Co.Clare

TTM Healthcare Solutions, Recruitment Agency of the Year 2022, and Cahercalla Community Hospital are working in tandem to recruit a new General Manager. The role will be based in Ennis and is a full time permanent post.

Cahercalla Community Hospital & Hospice is a long established 112 bed nursing home and hospice in the town of Ennis, Co. The Role

We are looking to recruit a Person in Charge/General Manager who is experienced and will be self-motivated to direct and manage the organisation. Reporting to the Board of Directors and supported by a strong clinical team, including a Director of Nursing, the General Manager will oversee the day to day operations of the centre in accordance with company standards, mission statement, vision and values. Contribute to the overall quality of the organisation by developing, reviewing and implementing policies, strategies and plans to meet the mission statement, regulatory requirements and residents needs. Control and plan performance against targets and monitor individual department performances. Direct and coordinate all health, safety and environmental activities. Appraise regularly the performance and development of all department managers.

The Qualities

We desire candidates to have the following though there may be a little flexibility:

  • 3rd Level Degree in Nursing or equivalent Health orientated qualification.

  • 3 years experience in a management capacity in the area of Health and social care.

  • Post Registration qualification in health or a related field.
