Locum Support Worker Vacancies

TTM Healthcare are proud to have partnered with Resilience in recruiting Locum Support Workers for a number of locations nationwide. With up to 40 open roles available we are looking to recruit staff with all levels of experience including Special Needs Assistants, Healthcare Assistants, Social Care Workers, Care Assistants and those with relevant life experience. These roles are based in both Residential and Community services and there is a range of full time hours available per week in each location. Due to planned growth and expansion within the services in the coming year, successful candidates will also have the opportunity to consider a full time permanent position should they meet the requirements.

About the Roles

Support Workers will provide support to children and adults with intellectual, physical and sensory disabilities. Some of the individuals they support will present with challenging behaviours or behaviours that concern. You will work alongside an experienced team in assisting service users with the activities of their daily living. Working hand in hand with service users to promote and maintain their independence, building the day around the service users needs and supporting individualised plans based on their needs and interests.

Residential hours: Days, nights, & sleepover shifts

Community hours: A range of day time shift patterns are available.

  • FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Special Needs Assistant, Healthcare Support or relevant

  • or FETAC/QQI Level 7/8 Social Care Degree

  • Flexibility – availability for a range of shift patterns is required

  • Commitment – in the current context, staff must work with one service only​


    • Pay range €13.02 - €26.04 per hour.

  • Dedicated consultant and 24/7 on call support
