Over 150 Band 5 Staff nurses were urgently required by our client. They found that both their location and reputation posed serious obstacles to recruitment.
We advised that the best strategy was for our client to differentiate itself by demonstrating how they are improving standards of patient care and conditions of work by developing a promotional video and information pack. We planned a number of overseas recruitment drives. Nurse Managers from the Trust travelled to meet candidates directly. This resulted in very positive interview to offer and offer to acceptance ratios. It will also aid long term retention of these staff, a key client requirement.
Initial projects placed 128 nurses with our client. Further events were scheduled to reach the balance. Such was the hospital’s satisfaction that they engaged TTM Healthcare to source a further 200 Nurses to meet their future requirements.

This new office forms part of our three year multi-million-euro capital investment to deliver on our ambition to become the largest provider of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to hospitals and healthcare facilities in the UK. The Manchester office will employ a team of fifteen and build on our existing London presence, which currently manages the placement of one in five nurses recruited to the NHS from overseas. We are already on target to exceed €100 million in revenues for the first time in 2018 and the new Manchester office is part of our broader expansion plans to double our revenues and team within five years. These plans extend beyond our traditional healthcare staffing business to our Resilience Care division, which operates care facilities that provides outreach, respite and residential services for children and adults with disabilities, along with home-based services for those with complex medical needs. TTM Healthcare is an Enterprise Ireland supported company, with the official opening forming part of a trade mission to Manchester, aiming to reaffirm Ireland’s important trading relationship with the UK. The TTM family were thrilled to present local children charity, The Clare Crusaders, with our fundraising cheque of close to €4,000 at our Ennis HQ earlier this week! We chose this fantastic local organisation as our Charity of the Year in recognition of the essential services it provides to young children with autism and cerebral palsy. Founded in 2007, it provides free therapy and specialist treatment to over 350 children with special needs in Co. Clare but receives no state funding, so it relies on fundraising efforts to keep the service going at a cost of over €250,000 each year.
