One of the largest and most prestigious Voluntary organisations in the country are seeking to appoint a permanent  Social Care Team Leader to bolster their successful and exciting team in County Kildare.
This is a full time post and a wonderful opportunity for a positive and pro active qualified Team Leader with management and leadership qualities within the area of intellectual disabilities.

Essential Requirements:
  • Successfully completed one of the core professional qualifications e.g. Diploma/Degree in Social Studies / Applied Social Studies.
  • Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in ID services
  • Relevant management experience
  • Computer skills
  • Experience in developing rosters
  • A proven ability to lead and support teams
  • Experience in and commitment to developing supports that are person centred
  • Experience of working with people with a range of support needs to include behaviours of concern
  • Experience in and commitment to promoting community presence
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations, standards, role of person in charge and Health Act 2007
  • Full current driving licence
  • Demonstrate Flexibility
  • Have the ability to undertake the role of Person in Charge under the Health Act 2007
A thorough knowledge and experience of HIQA regulations is essential here.
